Crab Stuffed Wontons

Crab Stuffed Wontons
Trader Joe's recently discontinued the crab meat used in the video here. But you can use any lump crab meat for this.
Total Cook/Prep time: 30 minutes


  • 16 wonton wrappers
  • 1 scrambled egg (for sealing the wontons closed)
  • For the stuffing:
  • 4 oz lump crab meat (canned or frozen)
  • 3 scallions
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • Handful of chopped fresh cilantro
  • Juice of 2 or 3 limes
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper


Mix the stuffing ingredients in a bowl.

Lay out the 16 wonton wrappers on a cutting board or parchment paper.

Place a small round ball of the mixture in the center of each wrapper.

Brush a thin coat of the egg around the perimeter of each wonton, pinching each one closed as you go.

Gently place the wontons in a small pot of boiling water for just a minute or two.

Serve with edamame, shrimp and soy sauce for dipping.
