Jello Birthday Cake

4 points for 1/8" slice if you use 5 tbsp of lite cool whip per slice. You can skip the pastry bag and just spread the cool whip over the cake with a spatula. I highly recommend that you use a shallow bowl for this so the jello doesn't collapse when you remove it. The slow cooker liners can be found at almost any grocery store in the section with plastic wrap and aluminum foil.
Total Cook/Prep time: 30 minutes (active time)

Ingredients

  • 3 packets of orange sugar free jello (plus water)
  • 1 cup mandarin oranges (drained if using them from a can or container)
  • Lite cool-whip topping
  • Other items needed:
  • 1 slow cooker liner
  • cooking spray
  • shallow bowl about 8 inches in diameter.

Directions

Cook the jello according to package directions.

Line the bowl with the slow cooker liner.

Spray the lined bowl with cooking spray.

Add the mandarin oranges, then carefully pour in the liquid jello.

Allow the jello to set in the refrigerator over night, or at least 8 hours.

Carefully and slowly, flip the bowl onto a serving dish (see video).

Carefully and slowly, pull the bowl off, and then the slow cooker liner.

Top it with the coolwhip.

Cut each slice and use a spatula to place it onto the plates.
