Mahi-mahi Burgers

Mahi-mahi Burgers

For this burger, I used a home-made pretzel bun I had previously made. The total calories and/or Points value for this burger, depends on the bun you use. I can't emphasize enough how much I love these burgers from Trader Joe's. You can find them in the freezer section near the fish.

Total Cook/Prep time: 20 minutes


  • 1 sandwich bun
  • 1 mahi-mahi burger
  • lettuce
  • tomato
  • For the dressing:
  • 2 tbsp fat-free greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp mayo
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin


Preheat a frying pan on medium-high heat for about 1 minute.

I do not spray my pan with cooking spray because I have a good non-stick pan, but you can do that if needed

From frozen state, place the mahi-mahi burger in the pan. 

Cook for approximately 8 minutes on the first side, and 7 minutes for the second side. Test for done-ness. It may need another minute or two (give or take a couple of minutes).

While it's cooking, mix up the dressing ingredients in a bowl.

When the burger is done cooking, assemble the tomato, lettuce and patty onto the bottom side of the bun.

Drizzle the dressing over the burger, then top it with the other side of the bun.
