Shrimp, Edamame and Avocado

Shrimp, Edamame and Avocado
My really fancy shrimp bowl that I usually eat on the couch in my t-shirt and pajamas while I'm watching re-runs of Everybody Loves Raymond.
Total Cook/Prep time: 10 minutes


  • Precooked frozen shrimp
  • 1/4 sliced hass avocado
  • 1 cup frozen edamame in the pod


Defrost the shrimp (microwave is ok). 

Don't microwave the edamame.

Place the edamame in a heated pan on the stovetop (medium - high)

Let it sizzle for about 10-12 minutes, or until there is a slight char on the edamame shells, and the beans are soft.

Sprinkle with Kosher salt.

Slice the avocado.

Assemble the shrimp, edamame and avocado on a plate or in a bowl. 

Serve with soy sauce for dipping.
