Yogurt Parfaits

The puffed wheat in this recipe is a bit easier on your daily calorie budget than rolled oats. Recipe makes 3 servings.

  • 16 oz. non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup puffed wheat cereal
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup blueberries


In a small pan, heat the pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds on the stovetop (low-medium heat)

Heat until seeds are lightly toasted (about 5 minutes), stirring occasionally

Mix the seeds, cereal and cinnamon in a bowl

(Optionally, you can mix in 1 tsp sugar and 1/2 tsp melted butter if you prefer it sweeter but adjust the nutrition values accordingly)

Distribute yogurt into 3 mason jars or containers

Distribute cereal mixture on top of the jars of yogurt, along with the blueberries
