This home-made Alfredo sauce is light and creamy with a hint of Parmesan and garlic. Quick and easy to make.
Recipe makes 8 servings (1/4 cup serving).
Mix the milk and cornstarch in a bowl to thoroughly combine
In a small pot, heat the garlic and butter on very low heat for about 4 minutes
Add milk/cornstarch mixture to the garlic and butter
Simmer for 10 minutes stirring slowly but constantly
Remove from heat, add parmesan cheese, salt and pepper
Sauce with thicken as it cools
