Apple Pie A La Mode

I love the contrast of hot apples and cold ice cream and all the good sweetness in this treat. This crustless, no-bake apple pie is so easy to make too. If you can't find the WW brand Salted Caramel ice cream bars, you can substitute with another brand of ice cream - just check the nutritional values and SmartPoints to be sure they are similar.

 

Recipe makes 1 serving. 

Yield/Servings: 1 Serving Size: 1 bowl Total Cook/Prep time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 Granny Smith apple (peeled and diced into 1/4” cubes - omit core)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp all spice
  • sprinkle of salt
  • 1 WW Salted Caramel ice cream bar

Directions

Heat the apples in a pan on the stovetop (low - medium heat, about 8 minutes)

Add the applesauce, cinnamon, allspice and salt

Stir to combine

Continue to heat another 2 minutes

Set aside in a small bowl

Remove the Salted Caramel Ice Cream from the stick and place it on top of the hot apples

Eat and enjoy
