Bagel Wreath

Great for parties, brunches and holiday get togethers. The dip shown in the photo here is just a few over-easy eggs mashed up.

Yield/Servings: 1 wreath Serving Size: 1/12 of wreath Total Cook/Prep time: 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (16 oz) FAGE non-fat greek yogurt
  • 2 1/2 cups (300 g) bread flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • Additional Items:
  • 2 scrambled eggs (used as a wash just before baking - and after baking)
  • Sesame seeds and/or Everything bagel seasoning

Directions

Prepare the dough by mixing the flour, baking powder and salt together in a bowl.

Add the yogurt and mix to combine.

Be sure to incorporate all the flour into the yogurt.

Cover the dough with plastic wrap and allow it to rest in the refrigerator 15 - 30 minutes.

Once bagel dough is assembled on the baking tray, preheat oven to 400 degrees F

Bake for about 25 minutes, or until golden brown

Allow the wreath to rest for at least 30 minutes before serving
