I found these really cute Chinese food take-out containers and chop sticks. It's just a fun way to enjoy a tasty, crunchy salad. I found the water chestnuts and chow mein noodles in the international section of my local grocery store. The pork is left-over from a roast I did the night before.

Yield/Servings: 1 Serving Size: 1 salad Total Cook/Prep time: 20 minutes


  • 2 cups shredded romaine lettuce
  • 3 oz pre-cooked lean pork center loin (cut up)
  • 1/2 cup raw snow peas
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup mandarin oranges
  • 1/2 cup water chestnuts
  • 1 tbs chow mein noodles
  • For the dressing:
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame seed oil
  • juice of 1 lemon


Assemble ingredients in the take out containers

Pour dressing on
